Hello travelers- July is here and things are happening this incredible summer at Walt Disney World!
Disney’s Incredible Summer is underway to celebrate the new Incredibles 2 movie (which was so good!) and Disney World is offering promotional resort values, special themed foods, and fun games in the Magic Kingdom. But across Disney property at Hollywood Studios other incredible things are happening!
Hollywood Studios opened Toy Story Land on June 30! Disney has dropped the construction wall and now we can see what it’s like to be the size of a toy in Andy’s yard! Toy Story Land holds the Slinky Dog roller coaster, Alien Swirl Saucers and of course Toy Story Midway Mania (which is not a new attraction). This area also is home to a new quick service location called Andy’s Lunchbox with grilled sandwiches, and other lunchbox sides of tomato soup, tater tots and pasta salad as well as “homemade” poptarts. Toy Story Characters will greet in this area and there are lots of fun things to explore. The tiered FastPass system will put all three Toy Story Land rides in tier 1, so you can only FastPass one of these rides.
And in other exciting news, this week the first Skyliner car has arrived on Disney property! The Disney Skyliner is a new mode of transportation on the Disney World property that will move the masses gondola style in hanging cars that come complete with Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Lots of progress being made!
Would you love to make a visit to Toy Story Land, or want to plan ahead for the opening next year of Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge? I would love to help!
